FAQ

I provide personalised consultations, either face-to-face (location-dependent) or online, breed-specific research that matches you/your family, advocacy for shelter dogs and ongoing post-adoption support.

Anyone who wants a dog! No seriously, I do not discriminate 😉 Okay, in all seriousness, while anyone who wants a dog is more than welcome, I do specialise in first-time dog owners, because, well, dog ownership is totally unfamiliar! Being neurodivergent myself, I am able to give special support to fellow neurodivergent prospective dog owners.

Well, we start with a consulation. After that, I will combine my knowledge and research skills to create a nice personalised* report containing answers to questions and concerns, breed recommendations and you will get a ton of information to get you started.

You can read more details about the process under ‘What Can You Expect' on the ‘About Me' page.

Your consultation package determines if you get a personalised or generalised report!

In short: No. That is also not what I am about. Dog training is usually required when you already have a dog and he or she is showing ‘unwanted' behaviour. That said, I will have plenty of information that will help you teach your new pup the basic commands, such as sit, stay, and leave it. I've had plenty of practice with that myself, as I have owned many dogs throughout my life and I have done courses to help me understand dogs😊. I do, eventually, hope to train myself to become a puppy trainer so that I can be of even better assistance to you.
